Cervical Cancer: V-Veil-Up Production offers 1,000 self-sampling kits for free for the molecular screening of human papillomavirus infections and major sexually transmitted infections.

Cervical cancer is an infectious disease, with the main cause in 95% to 100% of cases being a virus, the human papillomavirus (HPV). Due to its slow progression and the presence of many treatable precancerous lesions, it is a cancer that can be easily screened, prevented, and even cured at early stages. However, there remains a significant proportion of women who are still inadequately or not screened at all. According to the French National Cancer Institute, the number of new annual cases of cervical cancer in France is estimated at 3,100, with 1,100 deaths.

Vaccination against human papillomaviruses (HPV) protects against most HPV types, but not all. Women aged 25 to 65 are encouraged to continue regular cervical cancer screening exams, whether they are vaccinated against HPV or not.

The molecular screening test for cervical cancer, recommended by the French High Authority for Health (HAS) since 2019, allows for the detection of cancerous or precancerous lesions before they evolve into invasive cervical cancer. This test is intended for all women aged 30 to 65,
